How to read the notes below
Written for people just starting out
Every note here assumes zero background in markets. Where a term can't be avoided, we explain it the first time it appears, and where a rule differs by country, we say so instead of glossing over it.
What you will not find here
No price predictions and no signals. Any claim of a guaranteed return is the single clearest warning sign in this industry, and we are not going to add to it.
How often notes get updated
Notes are revisited whenever the underlying rules change — a new regulation, a new reporting requirement, a change in how deposits are handled. The date on each note is when it was last checked, not when it was first written.
